Because I have given up the opportunity to vote by not becoming a citizen of the United States (I feel that would be unpatriotic and ungrateful to the great country I grew up in) I feel that I should not have a strong voice when it comes to politics and candidates. That does not mean that I am not paying attention to the candidates, the debates, other peoples opinions, how things are evolving, the byplay that occurs daily. This afternoon as I have been laid way low with the hinting of another sinus infection I was wandering around political ads and came upon one I particularly liked. Not that I throw my support behind this particular man ... but the video is well put together.

I like the idea behind the video, but think there were too many voices at the same time, which makes it harder to understand the message.
I don't think the US as a whole is ready for a black president just yet...
That was a great video. I agree with Gary, I don't think the US is ready for either a Black or Female president.
That was brilliant. It raises so many emotions, encompasses so many races, and reaches every person on some level with the music and faces. I liked the overlapping voices, I felt it added a sense of unity. Well done Obama. I guess we'll see if it helps you out in the end...
How come you don't want to be a duo citizen?
I think that I will get citizenship when I get a chance to. I can't apply for another 2 years, but I figure it will just reduce the paperwork and hassle of everything eventually in the future.
I probably wouldn't do it if I had to give up my Canadian citizenship, but I'm kind of figuring that having duo citizenship would just be getting the best of both worlds.
